Year 9 Geography Project: Visual Pollution

Tsim Sha Tsui Analysis

Picture
During the field trip, we interviewed the people in the Avenue of Stars and the Middle Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. From the results we got from the interviewees, I it indicates that the severance of visual pollution is above the average, as it is the second highest among the six results. The result we got for Tsim Sha Tsui is what we expected. Our hypothesis was that the higher the population, the more severe the visual pollution would be. The population in Tsim Sha Tsui is high because it is a popular tourist attraction, so a lot of people go there every day. Therefore proving our hypothesis as the problem of visual pollution is influenced by the population.
