Year 9 Geography Project: Visual Pollution

Aims and Hypotheses

1.    The amount of visual pollution depends on the land use, for example, if it’s a local government housing estate, it’s likely that there will be decaying buildings since building maintenance is not as frequent.

2.    The amount of visual pollution may depend on the age. The older the area, the more visual pollution there will be because of the environmental factors such as sunlight and the weather.

3.    The amount of visual pollution also depends on the population density, if the area is very popular, chances are that there will be more visual pollution.

4.    The amount of visual pollution depend on the quality of tThe higher the quality of land use, the less visual pollution there’ll be.
